Golden Ticket

For every £1 that is raised and donated, one Golden Ticket is given regardless of how the funds are raised.

Here are some examples;

  • Steve sells 140 raffle tickets to friends and family, but he also secures £100 sponsorship from the company he works for, making a total of £240, and therefore gets 240 Golden Tickets.
  • Bob has only raised funds by selling raffle tickets, but has sold 1,100 so Bob will get 1,100 Golden Tickets.
  • Julie raised £300 doing a sponsored bike ride, and because she works for a national bank with an employee matching scheme, they gave her a further £300 which means Julie has raised £600, therefore qualifying her for 600 Golden Tickets.

When the money is donated into the charity's account, we will link that transaction to your name. When the fundraising deadline arrives, we will tally up everyone's total donations, and issue the relevant Golden Tickets electronically which will be published on this website.

The draw will take place during the Grand Finals, with the winner receiving £2,538.

Points to remember;

  • A person who buys raffle tickets is not eligible for Golden Tickets - only the seller.
  • The Golden Ticket prize forms part of the tournament prize fund and is based on the funds raised
