‘Our objective during National Men’s Health Week was to raise awareness on male health issues and we arranged for several health and support local groups to be present in the centre.
In order to attract men to the shopping centre we felt that organising an event targeted at them would be the most successful tactic. The all day pool exhibition did not disappoint, our footfall was up and the positive atmosphere and goodwill during the event was enjoyed by both shoppers and retailers.
Moreover, the interaction Carl and the volunteers had with the male visitors particularly was fantastic, rising to the challenge of taking on a World Champion, sometimes in front of friends and learning new tips as well as being educated on some serious health issues is not something you would expect when visiting a shopping centre, the day on all levels was a huge success’

‘As a direct result of CharityExhibitions' events and the entertainment they bring, we at the galleria, decided to support Hearing Dogs for Deaf People by making them our Charity Of The Year.
As a result, we have secured a number of these great events for the galleria throughout 2009...’

‘Amazing! I didn't think anything could be so successful and yet sustain the volume of interest throughout the day, on each and every day they were here.
It certainly is something different, and I'd recommend them to anyone who wished to use their services to help charity!’

"The exhibition was fantastic and superbly organised and the feedback was brilliant!
The level of pool played by Carl was amazing, especially the trick shots which kept the crowd entertained throughout the evening and left our local "hard nut" petrified when he was summoned to sit down on the floor with his legs spread and had a shoe placed in a strategic position.
To please the crowd even further, Carl then proceed to place four pint glasses - all full of beer - next to the shoe and blindfolded him.
I have to say that the build up to this trick shot is probably the best I've seen.
What made it extra special was this cost us nothing and made all that money for charity!"

"All of a sudden, with this innovative idea from 'CharityExhibitions', I can have pool exhibitions again free of charge where before, the club just couldn't afford the entertainment fees."
